Goal achievement

When you are carrying out a plan and think maybe you’re not going in the right direction; remember the moment you promised yourself why you decided to do this.

Your past self was desperate to achieve the goal, you’re losing motivation even though back then you weren’t.

Don’t look on the side of why I should give up or postpone.

Look at why you need to do this right now.

Action

Extreme emotion is a good trigger for action.

If you started something big, then it means your reason was important too, right?

We don’t take risks unless almost guaranteed returns.

If along the way you feel that you’re faltering, remember the emotion you felt when you began all this.

It will remind you vividly what you want and what you’re owed.

Personal Growth

It’s futile to think that everyone should grow up a the same pace.

Some people run fast, some run slow.

Some take risks, some make careful decisions.

Some are certain,some are uncertain.

Trying to take away someone uniqueness for the sake of generality. Please. We are not plants.

Speculation

Gambling – a moment where people make irrational choices on the basis of rational experience.Whether it is a casino or real life, humans take risks.I think this is what makes us different from other animals.I don’t think we are rational beings. We really are irrational. And that has allowed us to become intelligent.Other species don’t take risks unless they think they are going to win,or when their life is already on the line,or they are going to lose something or someone precious to them.We humans take risks even when the odds are against us,even though we are perfectly safe in our cocoon and even though the things we love are safe.I wonder now, which is more smarter and braver, making a rational choice or an irrational one? What do you think? Which is the best way to go?

Motivation

As we become an adult, logic becomes a norm and creativity something unique. As a child it is the other way round. To us some of their endeavour may seem fruitless, but what they do all the time is completely new to them, and that’s important. They don’t hesitate to try because they don’t understand the cost that risk bears.Who do you think is more vulnerable? Us or a baby? Of course, the latter. Our mental faculty helps us to assess and averse the risk but not take it head on because we are afraid of the consequences. We have more tools that a kid does to get ourselves back on the track, yet they are the ones taking more risks than us.We understand our risks and have a greater ability to deal with them yet we take a step back.It doesn’t seem that we just evolve from childhood to late adulthood but more like evolve-devolve,for both good and bad.

Approaching

We all gamble at some point in our lives. Some of us relish the prizes won,and some of us regret the choices lost. And every conscious being has a tendency to avoid risk that comes at a great cost.So much so that evolution has fixated in us certain reflexes to unconsciously avoid hurtful things.

Ironically, today some of us are voluntarily diving head-straight into life threatening risks. What happened to our survival instincts? Years ago when life was more unstable, we tried to gather (or forcibly take away from others) lots of resources and pass it onto our next generation. Now,we don’t feel the same threat anymore,so we nurture other species as our own,or others of our species as our own, with no feelings of competitiveness or inconvenience. We even engage in high stimulating activities out of nostalgia of our ancestors who had to escape from a bear or something every other day.

So,it goes onto show us that as competition for resources or levels of life-threats go down,we feel more secure and tolerant of each other.Today we see and feel discrimination because deep down we feel insecure of things being taken away from us.Once innovation stands in and everyone is provided for,the word threat itself will cease to exist.
