Consciously seeking clarity is what meditation is all about.
There’s nothing more valuable than a peaceful mind and a healthy body.
There are only two ways to counter a problem: Either you solve it or forget it’s existence,at least for the time being.
First one is a very palpable option! What about the latter? Solving is what everyone of us try to do.But sometimes we need to forget.We cannot do everything all the time,at least alone.Over-stressing doesn’t help you face problems but preparing for stress does.You sometimes need to wait for the right time and opportunity.
Isn’t our education system a great example for it? We don’t teach college level math to a middle schooler – not because they can’t solve it – but because they can’t solve it RIGHT NOW.
If we could solve all of our problems in one day,we wouldn’t have any problems on the next day.But that doesn’t happen,does it? If you can solve something,solve it.If you can’t solve something,prepare for it.
We are so conscious about things in our life sometimes.Learn to give up.Learn to pull back.Learn to live today to fight another day.It’s only when you rest you store energy to throw it all back out to the universe.
Emotion is a state of mind.You can choose to be happy or you can choose to be sad.
It is true that your environment has a big influence on which and how much of a emotion is triggered within you.But you have the choice to feel or not to feel those emotions.
It is like a two-way switch.The outside world will flick on-off your switch as many times as they want because it is just a plaything for them.They are not going to experience any effect after all.
But you are in control of the master switch inside of you which turns on and off on your volition.If your volition is dominated by that minuscule switch that the world is playing with,then you are at their mercy.You have no control over yourself.You don’t get to choose for you.You have lost your freedom.
Control your switch.Take control it because it is yours.Your emotions are yours to experience when you want them to experience.World is a stimulus not a source of your emotion.
Distraction is the key to developing focus.You can only travel towards focus,when you are aware that you have drifted towards distraction.
You need direction.If you don’t know which way to go,you can follow the path other than where you have no need to go.
Building a tolerance begins with enduring the unwanted.It provides a clear goal: ‘I want this’ and ‘I do not wish that’.
Not only one should be aware about what they aspire to be,but also of what they don’t want to be.Knowing that,you can make better,more refined choices in life.
What other ways can you develop focus?
Do not cope but live life.
Addiction is not a choice made by you.It is a choice made by the drug.
Eating healthy food leads to good physical health and absorbing healthy thoughts leads to good mental health.In the first case,the farmers work hard to reap a good harvest for you.You give them back the fruits of their effort through your own skills and resources.There’s an exchange to promote well-being of all.It works the same for mental health.You can benefit those around you by sending out vibes of positivity for them to absorb.And they will give back the fruits of your endeavor with optimism as well.Again an exchange to promote well-being of all.
Exercise is for relaxation not exhaustion.
