There some people who we can understand easily. And there are some people who are just too tough to be understood. The latter kind is the one we tend to ignore or dislike. But should we?
I believe that it is okay to have an opinion about everything and everyone. But only when you have thorough information as basis. Otherwise your own thoughts become an illusion to you.And then you end up becoming the one too tough to be understood, ignored or disliked.
Being open minded is not a luxury, it is a necessity.
I prefer using public transport instead of private vehicle to keep the air clean (even by a small amount) that I breathe in.
Rule for good health: spend a fair share of your time in gym (workout), in kitchen (work-on diet) and with loved ones (work-with others).
There are two categories of diseases. One is ‘diseases of affluence’ that inflict the rich such as heart diseases and cancer.Other is ‘diseases of poverty’ that inflict the poor such as infectious diseases or malnutrition.
Diseases of affluence happen because of abundance of unhealthy diet and diseases of poverty happen because of scarce access to healthy diet.
You do not have to be in either of these categories. Lowering unhealthy consumption and increasing healthy consumption will keep you away from both.
A very simple message right? Too obvious? If it is too simple and obvious then why do we have these diseases in the first place?
The world is unfair. It serves as a reminder that nothing is perfect. Everything requires effort to reach perfection. And perfection only comes through change. If we are not willing to change, we will not rise to become better people.
By focusing on your present, you can change your past and your future.
It’s true that past is a done deal. How the events unravelled back then cannot be changed. But what you can change about it is perspective. Instead of viewing the past as the time lost, see it as a time well spent. The rise and the fall constructed your present and will also construct your future.
The future changing argument is plausible right? By controlling your present you can gain some control of the future. But it is also true that the future will not be laid out exactly as you planned now. Some past deeds that cannot be undone will affect it and some uncertain future factors will also affect the future in some way.
Planning and controlling your present is not a fool-proof way to achievement. But it does serve its purpose no matter how big or small. When someone is stuck in the darkness they will always be drawn towards light, no matter how faint.
That’s why no matter how significant or insignificant your present seems to you now, at this very moment it is your only light. Cherish it. Don’t let it fade.
Just because I don’t do something doesn’t mean I can’t do it.
Only three types of people are cared about: those who are sociable, those who are useful and those who are best at what they do.
A person who doesn’t care about the society is selfless.
If they were really selfish then they would protect the environment that’s preserving them, rather than destroying it.
