House position

There are many things one has to keep in mind when buying/renting a house.

But the two given below are some of the most important:

A) Always get an East-facing house. This allows morning sunlight through your windows and cleanse your house of any air-borne bacteria. You are also exposed to sunlight that accelerates the production of vitamin D in your body (which strengthens your bones, remember?) and open up your chakra points (really important for the balance of your body). This is a good hack given people usually forget to or are too busy or do not care to get out of their house and take in some sun rays.Sunbathe while you oversleep.

B) Always look for windows that allow cross ventilation. You want unblocked windows in opposite directions inside the house (preferably all rooms should have at least one window) to bring in fresh air and take the stale air out.If you are concerned about the mosquitoes and what-not tiny aggressors outside the house, get a mesh with velcro or sliding doors attached to your windows. But do not get the glass windows removed because winter is always around the corner. And it is definitely here.

Balance

There are only two ways you can live with a person who is a complete opposite to you:

Embrace the fact that they are who they are and align yourself with them; or

Embrace the fact that they are who they are and be yourself to create a balance in their life.

Listener

If the other people ask you to listen to their problems,do listen.

It will give them relief to get it all off their chest (and maybe some good advice in return by you 😉).

It will serve as a reminder to you,as to how simpler your life is compared to others and your problems are far more manageable than that of the others.

And lastly,it will help you to learn from the failures of others and be prepared for any problem alike.

Being human

People may or may not listen to you if you have something good to say.If they know about it they will just shrug it off and if they didn’t know about it they may still shrug it off under the pretext of common sense.

People may or may not listen to you if you tell them something they don’t know.It depends on the recipient circumstances and the informant’s credibility.

And people will definitely resist you (even a tiny bit) if you tell them something they know is wrong because humans are resistant to any change (big or small).

But if they are desperate, regardless of good or bad, knowing or unknowing and right or wrong; they will discard all the decisive factors and go with whatever works.
